I am a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine practicing in the White Rock Lake/ Casa Linda area of Dallas, Texas, and am Board certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. A Diplomate of Oriental Medicine is a practitioner who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and has met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. . For additional information, about the Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, please visit the NCCAOM Website  http://www.nccaom.org/

Since graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine New York in 1997 with a Master’s of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, I have practiced acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine as a licensed acupuncturist in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and now  in Dallas,  as a general family practitioner.

A commitment to continual advanced training in such areas as Chinese medical pediatrics, Shonishin,  Dr. Tan’s system, and the treatment of allergies and autoimmune disorders, migraines, women’s health, pain, and many other health issues, has supported my clinical interests in these and related issues such as sensory integration dysfunction and weight management.

I especially enjoy working with children using gentle therapies such as shonishin (Japanese non-puncturing acupuncture for children), Chinese herbal medicine, and dietary counseling.
When not treating patients, I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing Qi Gong and Tai Qi, and educating the public about this wonderful form of healing.
